Helsinki Day 6

Helsinki - Lappeenranta

Finally arrived at Helsinki. Thought we could catch the train at 10.12am. but it seemed like impossible. We ran for quite a distance before giving up. sigh... if only we can catch the train, we do not have to wait 2 hours for the next train!

Saw Helsinki's Christmas market!

Nothing exciting. Maybe because i didn't see anything nice snacks.

Their ice skating rink. Better than i thought. And the ice is so much better than those in Oslo and Stockholm.

Went to the train station to get the tickets.
Also went to check the luggage storage.
3€ per day. can put up to 3 months.Our trolley is filled with our heavy bags!

Snowing by the time we ended our grocery shopping.


After the long wait...Fell asleep right after i board the train.

Snowing quite heavily by the time i opened my eyes.
And by the time we reached Lappeenranta, the sky has turned dark. Snow everywhere. most importantly, it is -12 degrees. The journey home was really difficult. The wind was so strong and it was so cold. I could barely feel my fingers and toes.

Once i reached home, i had a sudden dizziness. I feel like everything was moving. Too used to the long transportation and now when i'm am sitting still, i felt like i'm moving. Quite scary...

Didn't spend any money except on food and transportation!!!
