♥Finland with Kiki: Paris Day 3

Palace Versailles - Val D'Europe - Montmartre - Hardrock - Lourve Museum - Place the la Concorde - Eiffel Tower

Wanted to wake up at 7.30am to check if our luggages are here.

But, i couldn't wake up.
Ended up waking up at 8am. Went down to ask the receptionist if our luggages are here. I think they are all irritated by our persistent asking.

Finally, it is here!

This is like an island to us. There are no chairs, no tables in the room. No place to put our stuff.

My dear bag that has my precious hair dryer.

Finally setting off! We were not on schedule. off by an hour. ):
Spent too much time charging our batteries and dressing up.

Our first destination: Palace Versailles

It took almost 40 mins to get. My eyes are barely open.
Even worse we got on the wrong train.

Entrance ticket is really pricey.

There are so many rooms in here that i can't remember whose is this.

This painting is on the wall. Amazing isn't it? if i didn't hear wrongly, the artists took 3 years to complete the hundred over people on the ceiling.

Couldn't take a nice shot on this.
Too many people cramped in an area.

I was so relieved to be out of the palace. I'm getting a serious headache. Too many people. The surrounding are suffocating me. It gets even worse when i couldn't find the way out.

Being the royalty in the past is very tiring. Whole palace is so big. Guess you hardly see anyone you know. The rich must be very lonely.
It is good to be poor afterall.

Next, Val D'Europe!
Shopping District. To be exact, shopping district for high end factory outlet. Woohoo!!

It took us an hour to get here! Palace Versailles is at the west and this is at the East.
mp3 is the still the best for journey.

I think this place is slightly better and nicer than the center of Paris.
Air is fresher.

Finally.
Have to walk such a long way to get to this village. Why can't they build a travelator.

The guard told us we are no supposed to take pictures.
FR wanted to take some shots secretly but my stupid hand is blocking. haha..

They have all sorts of brand here!!
Burberry, CK, D&G, Long Champ, Armani etc...

Didn't get any stuff today. We are just here to do 市场调查.

Ate sandwiches for dinner.

The metro back to Montmartre usually takes about 30-40mins. Do not understand why is the train so slow, so crowded and no ventilation! I was really sleepy in the metro. Almost fell asleep. But something happened. I was really awaken by that.

The train stopped at one of the station. I was standing right in front of the door.
Then suddenly a guy or rather uncle walked up towards me and squat down.
I couldn't see him. All i see was his hand holding on to a tape recorder.
I was scared stiff la!
Kept thinking if that is a bomb.
Then i kept staring at him. Wanting to ask him what is the meaning of this. Then he back off. A french woman shout out to him "is this yours?". Then he shook his head! He pointed at me! omg... The french asked me the same question. of course i said it is not mine! i don't even know him! I wanted to get the recorder out of the train but i don't have the courage. What if i touched it and it explodes? The guy just kept staring at me and walked further and further away.

Wanted to get off at the next station. But couldn't get out. It is too crowded. Don't even have the space to move my legs. Just be careful not to step on it.

Luckily, it was all my imagination. It didn't explode. phew! but i really want to know what is the meaning of this.

Too an hour to reach Montmartre.
Wanted to get to Montmartre before sun set. But we spent too long shopping.

Before we get to this long stairs, we were ambushed by the blacks. They wanted to put the friendship band on our finger and demonstrate to us. But we are pressing for time and i have no interest.
We were seperated! A guy demonstrating to her.
Another guy tried to demonstrate to me. But i refused to give him my hand.
Guy: where are you from? where are you from? Japan? where are you from?
I kept saying sorry and wanting to leave. But somehow FR is still trapped.
No idea how, they let us go.

We quickly walked up the stairs. We even forgot to notice the cable car beside the stairs.

This stair is another killer. Never ending.

Well, it is really worth to risk and witness the beauty of Sacré-Coeur Basilica

Here comes my Hard Rock cafe!

The salesman is really friendly.

The waiter is even friendlier!

He even introduce the origin of his badges.

FR ordered this.
She gave me some of it. Yummy!!

I only ordered fries. Didn't want to spend too much.

Felt bad for FR because she have to eat it so quickly.

Lastly, we are going to track back the route we have taken yesterday. The night view is too good to be missed.

Took this hurriedly as we need to cross the road.
The driver even laughed at us!

Still under renovation. Quite a pity though.
I concluded that they were changing it because it is turning colder. They need to have a cable that is enclosed. is that true? hahaha...
Now, it looked like London eye. Looked like Singapore Flyer. No longer unique i guess.

This remind me of Devil wears Prada scene where she threw her phone away.
As well as the scene in Nodame Cantabile where Chiaki threw Nodame.
