Venice
The morning of Venice is a really busy one.
In fact i was awoken by the noises.
We started our day with rain! :(
Went to the train station to get the 12 hours tickets for the boats.
The snow has melted and became similar to ice-kachang.

While waiting for our boats to Murano, an island famous for the glass making.

While on the boats, we stood outdoor due to the crowd. I went under the shelter because it was cold. Then an Italian guy came on board. He laid his newspaper down. I thought he wanted to take a seat so i make way for him. But he was actually laying it down for me. He sang and talked to me in Italian. He told me(using body language) that Venice keeps flooding and there is a need to swim. Thus the muscles will get bigger. haha! Interesting.. He seems to be a boatman because he knows the captain of the boat. Captain even said hi to me. His name is Muno, 3rd child in the family. He also told me the beauty of Italy and Spaghetti.

Here we are, Murano.
The place where cheated our 2€.
But isn't it amazing? Able to blow the glass.
Shi Min was telling me how amazing it is to have the fishes in the glass.
Still raining!
Wandered around the streets thinking that there will be more shops but there is none. Instead we found this bridge.
Murano isn't really my type of place. Quite boring for me actually.
Took the boat back to the city. Didn't have any Italian guy talking to me. So i fell asleep. Luckily Chu Fang and Shi Min is around to wake me up.
Pigeons queuing up.

This guy was feeding the pigeons so that he can take a picture with them.

Piazza
Looks like postcard right?
Wandered around and we found this place. :)
An exhibition on the violins and other instruments.
Such as Clarinets!! <3
The early Clarinet that was made.

So amazing to have the violins dissect.
Finally the first picture of us.
Omg... Look at the big patch of algae.
Found the church! phew... luckily we took the right turn in.
The masks of Venice.
This must be candle looking thing that the 2 drunk guys tried to explain.
Selling vegetables on the boat.
Christmas market! It is really long and they sell quite cheap stuff. boots for 15€ only.

Huge Nutella bottle!
Went in to this Pizza cum Gelato store.
Happy eating! :)
The ice cream were one of the cheapest we ever seen.

The sky darkens so we decided to go for another night boat ride. It was freezing cold. Actually not really. It is just that my shoes are soaked. It felt like my feet were freezing and turning into ice.

Finally back to our hostel. There are no signboards that stated the hostel name. We relied on the house number. It was so difficult to find. :(
Wanted to go and pay our rental fees and go back to bed. Because we are so tired. But the Boss and Lady is so nice. They lent us jackets because their heater was spoilt. They fed us with peanuts which is really good! Big and crispy. Not only that, Lady also gave me sore throat medicine which was quite effective. The Lady was from Mainland and Boss is an Italian. Boss is really nice. He opened sparkling wine for us. Telling us we must not only smell the wine, we must also listen to it. wow... They also cooked the traditional spaghetti for us. Mamma Mia! The sauce is very special. Lady said that the Italians love to cook their own spaghetti sauce. It was spicy but nice. He even poured the red wine to go along with the spaghetti. What a wonderful meal i had! Must go there again!! <3
