Hey everyone! I am back in Singapore. And now finally i am over with the Jet lag and i can begin to blog my 23 days journey in Italy and London.

Helsinki - Milan - Venice

Leaving the train to Tampere to meet Chu-Fang and Shi Min. And! it is only 6am now. *yawn*
The sandwich that my mum's friend gave me.
Took the bus to the Tampere Airport. The queue for Ryanair flight to Milan was super long! My legs were tired. Oh ya! just right after we alight from the bus, we met this Malaysian girl, Li Zhu. She is also on an exchange program. She is studying in Helsinki. And she is going on a tour around Europe alone! wow.. really admire her courage. I would never do that.
It was snowing quite badly actually. I didn't notice the difference between heavy and light snow since i am so used to the snow in Lappeenranta.
We are finally on board! :)
It has been a really long time since i met them...
From the airport, we had to take another bus to the city center. There a lots of bus service to choose from. There is an offer of 3 tickets for €17.80. So we parted with Li Zhu.
On the bus, i sat beside a macau-american girl who is in Italy for an exchange program too. She speaks Cantonese and got to know that she haven't been back to Macau for quite some time. She studies Architect. That is why she cam Italy. She said Architect requires her to burn a lot of midnight oil but it is fun. :) But i am having a really really bad sore throat so i didn't speak much. And i fell asleep. haha... really got some transport illness which i would fell asleep whenever i am traveling.
Snow is so heavy!! omg...really terrible. The snow is thick and wind is strong. Totally different from what i expect. Isn't Italy suppose to be warmer?
Got the tickets and was trying to find the platform to board our train. But our train is cancelled!!! There is another train to Venice so we board that one. In fact, this train has been delayed for an hour. Once we boarded, i thought we are able to leave soon. But i am wrong. It was delayed for another hour before the train left.
And finally...
We sat with this Italian girl. She is really helpful. We do not understand Italian so she translated it for us. Due to the unexpected heavy snow, our train was delayed. Furthermore, it was spoiled soon after we left. It was really an emergency situation. Many left the train for another. But we can't take that since it doesn't go to Venice. 
After a long wait, the train master said that there will be 2 train coming that can lead us to Venice. Hooray!! We have to get down for another train.
It was really really cold.
Waited in the cold for about 30 minutes. Upon boarding the train, it was so packed till we had to stand throughout the journey. I was lucky. I am able to get a seat and i slept. Soon, Chu Fang and Shi Min joined me. But it was after they stood for about 2 hours?
Bad things doesn't end. We couldn't find the hostel and it was raining. We asked for directions and 2 guys gave us the wrong direction. We finally found the hostel through an Italian old couple. It was really nice of them to call the hostel and tell us the directions there. :( It was almost 11pm when we arrived at the hostel.
