Stockholm Day 5

Ikea - Viking Line

Say goodbye to our hostel. Not very perfect but it is a nice place to stay for a night.

this is the place to store luggage. the door was so difficult to open!

Walked to viking terminal. it is so so so far! my legs are seriously breaking. The person at the terminal told us there are no other free means of transport. Have to walk back to where we came from.

Bought the metro card because we are going to Ikea!Got to take a train then take a bus. A little far. But it is ok since we had nothing better to do.

Here we go!

Almost the same as the Ikea in Singapore. Except that it is bigger and much nicer looking.

hoho! the meatballs.

Wanted to seek shelter somewhere. So we ended up finding this place. Showing the development of Stockholm.

Back to the Christmas market.Really packed today. maybe because it is Saturday.

New ice sculpture today.

Dogs are allowed in shopping mall!

FR bought the chocolate churros. Best eaten when it is hot.

Finally time to get on board to Helsinki!
Ate the motion sickness pill before anything happens.

We had our own toilets!! (:

Went up to the deck before my dizziness strike.

Met some china guys. They spoke quite fluently but i don't. So i didn't speak much. They took a picture with us. But we aren't celebrities. are we?

Snowing again. Seemed like whenever we are on viking line, it snows.

Went to the dance club to listen to the music. The kids in front were so cute! Holding hands and dancing around.

A caucasian came up to us and looked at us. We looked at him waiting for him to speak. then he walked off. weird.

The china guys found us. This time is another group of guys. They are actually very nice people especially the one who is sitting next to me. Chatted about Singapore, Stockholm etc. my chinese is really lousy. Later on, more china people came. around 6 to 7. Crowded around us. Quite embarrassing actually.

Finally, the 2 of us.

More things happened when we went to the karaoke room.
We were expecting nice songs since there was a big crowd. But the moment the next singer open his mouth, i got a big shock out of my life. And within seconds, the crowd disperse. Still, we waited for the next singer. They were really terrible. I think partly is because they are drunk. At least we finally heard a woman sang well. But all these ended when a drunk finnish guy came over and talked to us.

fyi, he is really very very drunk. kept chatting with us and not allowing us to enjoy the music. Luckily the china guy saved us from this situation. or else i really had no idea how to get away.

We went back to the dance club. The china guy helped us to find a sit. but a guy came over and sit down beside me before my butt even touched the sofa. Asked me if i'm with the same group as the Philippines etc. Due to our communication break down, he asked help from another finnish guy. I think the guy wanted to find the Philippines girls. But conversation ended when the china guy helped us to find another chair.

Really a headache when the guys are drunk. Didn't hang out there. Instead, we went walking around. Nothing much actually. But just walking around. Saw the china guy again. such a coincidence. Then we went back to the Karaoke room. Saw the same drunk guy. Luckily he didn't notice me. Next, the group of china guys are back. But we didn't chat for long since we are very tired.

Finally, we are back to the room. What a long day.
