Halloween @ Huopatehtaankatu

Chatted with maruko today.. Wanted to webcam but somehow the connection is not working very well. She can't hear me at all. Today is my cousin brother's wedding and i can't attend. Well the main reason i'm sad is because i'm missing out the good food served at Fullerton Hotel ):

Our house fire alarm rang while chatting with maruko. The whole house is in a panic. Well i don't think FR and i are panic because we are used to it. Perhaps it did scare out guest off. In total, it rang thrice. haha..

Our guests of the day is Nadine and Nils.
Celebrating Halloween today. Well, not exactly Halloween party because we didn't dress up.. It is more like a get-together.

I was chatting with KW when Edita and I suddenly hear "knock knock knock". We got a shock.. Thinking who is knocking because normally people press the door bell.. I went out of my room to check.. then the knocking sound grew louder. Panic at first. then when i turn my head, i saw Nils at the back door. I can't stop my laughter! They came in through my balcony! haha... first time ever.

They wanted to cook American Halloween soup but they couldn't manage to buy any pumpkin. Instead they bake cookies and bread.

This bread is really as hard as stone.

All of us agreed that a little more salt would be nicer.

Well, FR and I decided fried rice would be the main dish today. And we went out to shop for grocery. It is really freezing. -2 degrees even though the sun is out! Well, no complains because my dear friends are perspiring under the hot sun in Singapore.

We also have roasted chicken. and luckily we have that or else the meal might look a little too pathetic.
In addition, I served my Shin ramen! (:

haha.. It is really spicy for Nils. Throat and lip are burning i guess...
I served the ramen in the pot directly. which is so wrong. because Caucasian don't share food like what Asian do. In the end, we served them using the bowls. Nils said he had chopsticks at home. and he prefer to use it. so i lent him mine!

Well, he didn't like my metal chopsticks ): Well, he said it is too slippery for him to use. And ended up using FR's wooden chopsticks. can't blame him because it is his first time seeing a metal chopsticks.

Before drinking, Nils showed us some videos. It is in German. and he verbally translated it for us. Interesting... Apparently it is very popular among the Germans.

This video is actually quite lame.. It is about a very normal day for a very normal guy in a very normal house. His only wish is to sit on the sofa. However the wife kept asking him to do something he like since he is free. But he only want to sit on the sofa..

Highest or lowest

The rules are simple. Everyone take a card. Someone have to say highest or lowest. and the person who either one should drink.
The fastest drinking game i ever played. No need to think. Just have to drink.

Nils said he is not drinking enough. So add another rule. All 7 should drink.

My drink ran out half way so i pick another drink.
Vodka + grapefruit. one of my favourite too.See the glass of alcohol?
It is really strong and Nils have to say no to it after a while. and he changed to Carlsberg.

Well, we have the really fastest round ever. Nils were calling shots for highest and lowest. So it kept going and going till he couldn't take it. *laughs*

Next on, movie time!
Watched Simpsons Halloween special. wasn't really concentrating because the chair is uncomfortable and i felt sleepy. most probably due to the effect of alcohol.

Moving on, we watched Frankenstein.
How should i put it...
It is really scary in the front part not because it is really scary.. it is just that the scenes are very gross..
The ending is very sad... Shouldn't end this way! ):
Overall, the movie is very nice!! love it...
