Saimaa Day

I googled Lappeenranta's temperature for the day. It is 10 degrees!

Supposed to take the bus to Yliopisto at 10.15am but we missed it! We woke up late! We caught the bus at 10.40am. We told the bus driver we want to go Yliopisto. It was suppose to be the last stop but the bus driver asked us to alight after 2 stops! WE WERE LOST! There are no one around for us to ask for directions. So we just keep walking. Until we met this kind girl we helped us. Guess she is from India. She told us to walk straight till the end. She was also lost as she asked us for directions too. But we can't help her! We can't even save ourselves.

Only when we saw this, we felt relieve! We have reached!
Only students would do this kind of graffiti on the road.

Finally!

This is more like a university compared to SaimaaIt is all this No. 5 bus's fault that we had to walk for 30 mins!

We couldn't reach Minna, the pastor, so we waited. Altogether we were late for an hour.

Nice house! We were served with delicious lunch! there are even fruit dessert. *drools* can never have delicious food with our limited budget.

My first game of the day is memory game. Had to say your name the things you like. For example: Friedrick Fishing, Arisa Asia, Liz Lollipop...so the last person have to say out every member's name and likings.

Then history. 10 questions about Finland. For example: How many % is Finland covered with forest? My group can answer it without any problem! the problem is just that i don't know!

Then floor ball! Exciting game. Yellow versus Red. Red won by 4-1.

Next is boating. Something like dragon boat. all of us on the boat and there is a leader at the front leading. It was really fast! Everyone is paddling as fast as they could. 楽しかった！

Next is countries introduction

Drawing the european union flag as there most are from germany, poland. We drew Taiwan and Singapore's flag. haha! I drew quite badly. Forgot to take a picture of it. Hopefully i can take it from my team members!


Kayaking!!! Love it to the max but i can't.Gave up and start taking pictures.

They were really nice. They kayak to us and gave us advice on how to kayak. But failed to do so..

In the end, the instructor hook our kayak on his and brought us back to the land safetly.

My team mate asked "Are you still alive?"

This was interesting too. My team won! All guys and me. They were really fast. I had a hard time keeping up to their pace. Chu fang's team fell down. Had a hard time finishing the game. But they did it.However this guy was too concentrated on the audience. haha!

Next we played the ball pin game. There are 12 wood cone. Each with a number from 1 to 12. Use the wood on your hand and hit it. If you hit on one cone, number 10, you will have 10 points. But if you hit on 4 cone, you will only have 4 points. And you have to sum it up to exactly 50. 3 consecutive miss will be out from the game. My team have no winner! All went out. I'm the last. So if i hit on any, i will be the winner but i didn't manage to do so.

2 hours break.
Had a sandwich. Friedrick wants more so he just hang out at the place where the sandwich is. Most of the guys went sauna then swim in the lake naked! Yasuko kept seeing it. hahah!
We went to the Sauna! It was really hot. 95 degrees celsius! Kasia kept pouring water to the stones. It became so hot that i don't wish to talk. But it was really good. I felt so refreshed after that. Hot cold hot cold. It is a must to try it in Finland. You can find it everywhere.

Everyone had a paper with words pinned on his/her back. Everyone have to guess what is on the piece of paper. Mine was Mozart. Had a difficult time getting the answer. I kept asking question like "is he blond? is he tall? is he fat? is he a singer?" Somehow Vienna came into my mind. Then somehow i thought of nodame. and somehow i answered Beethoven and somehow it became Mozart. All with the help of the friends i met there! (: Chu fang got a famous finnish band. She never get the answer. Ji Young got Buddha! never got it right. Someone told her it is a famous "guy". hahah! Young Shin even say "you have it in your house!" But Andrea shut her up.

Games in the beautiful house. Write down 16 pairs of name and play bingo. the prize is Mars chocolate.


After the Bingo game, we had a Bingo song. We had to walk in circles holding another guy's hand. Shake your hands whenever we say B-I-N-G and hug each other when you say O. The tall Caucasian have to bend very low and i have to tip toe. hahah! But there was a time when i hug a guy that is as short as me. No. Is taller than me by a little. That one feel much better as i do not have to tip toe. (: Their hands are really huge! Especially the German guys. During the last round, i hug a very very tall guy. Then he asked Ayako and i to take picture with him. haha! The height difference was really huge!

Supper for the day. Earl grey. yummy!

He asked for volunteers to play the guitar. Everyone requested for Canada, David. "Canada, canada "

Canada can't be found. Then this russia guy came out.

It turns out that canada doesn't know a whole song. just a part of it and he doesn't want to embarrass himself.

Andrea! Helped me with Mozart. A really nice person. He looked at family name and said "Low, you are really low." haha!

Asians! Yasuko and Ayako from Japan. Young Shin and Ji Young from South Korea.

I want to meet everyone from University of Technology again! They are really really very friendly and nice. I enjoyed myself!!!

We ran all the way to the bus stop near S-market and K-market to catch bus No.1 at 7.45pm. Met Marcus on the bus. He is taking the 8.36pm train back to Imatra.

Finally got to webcam with mummy and nee san! woohoo!!! I think i talked very loud using Pei ni's headset.
I really want to meet up with 黒木 and ばあお. Only they will stand my nonsense. My friends, if you are craving for nice Japanese food, head to Isetan, Shaw house!!! It is his last year working for the fair in Singapore. The fried squid is really nice. They are selling all the fried Japanese delicacies and vinegar. Support them on my behalf!
黒木さん： Thanks for the T-shirt and key chain!! I will definitely meet you in Japan again! I had lots of fun when i went there last year. All the fun in Karaoke, Sengan-En, Nikko Edo wonderland and Sakurajima!<3 I still think the horse galloping pa-pa-ka is funny!! Hope you can receive my post card on time!

Shi min is going to stay over for another day at Lappeenranta. Sent Chu Fang to the railway station to catch the train at 10.40pm. I didn't realised that Shi min and Pei ni are going to stay over at Ya Jun's house to watch horror movie. Didn't know Pei ni likes to stay out huh... When Pei ni came home to take her jacket, I asked her who is watching movie. She say it is the girls. Then when i ask deeper, she confessed that the guys are there too. hahaha! Love is in the air. I was really hungry as we only had sandwich for dinner. My only packet. I couldn't resist the hunger...美味しい!
